I am Jesus D. Macachor , M.D. To hit long you should be strong, tall, turn your body completely and tuck in your right elbow close to your body in the downswing for good summation of forces between the lower body and the arm swing.And of course 48 inches graphite shaft driver for long Moment Arm. Assuming you have the correct backswing and downswing.
when he hit the ball it landed like 10 ft away from him
@retrokiwikromify Think you’ll find that was the tee…
@Enhancetec ya i realized that about 5 seconds after my posted my comment
@Motown025 lmao personally i like hitting lob wedge into a green as opposed to 3 wood, but you can play however you want
this guy gives the best advice and best golf videos
@golfhead15 yes well that’s the trouble with assumptions my friend
@jessdmac what consistent distant should I have with a driver to be like in the top 25% of the pga tour??
@izzy0210
Golf is a fag sport!!! Fuck everyone who likes golf!!!
@JasonPichola It could just be your one piece takeaway. Just takeaway in one piece like a log turning without manipulating your driver until your left wrist is about the middle of your stance before you start your upswing. The key is turning your body just behind the middle of your stance.Study the pictures of the professionals at the top of their swing and you will see what I mean.The takeaway has to be straight back.
@symphonyraps just cuz u suck
@izzy0210 tour average is 280, to be top 25% probs 295 -298 average….
that’s what i’m talking about. now where did that go? did that hit the range picker? ha
@symphonyraps Because that’s why Tiger Woods got with 16 women including 3 porn stars…
Shorten the swing and learn where to accelerate. That is the best I can relate things. There is a flat spot at the bottom of the arc that you NEED to learn how to acclerate the WHOLE way through. Again, shorten the backswing and LEARN where to acclerate the clubface. On a good day I am averaging 300+ yards on holes I have my driver out on.
But, also understand what this guy says at the beginning….a WIDE arc produces LONG distance. That goes for all your clubs. It helps to be tall, too! LOL
@jessdmac Yeah the takeaway is as important as getting to the top of your backswing. It sets the groove. The top of the backswing should FEEL short. And like Ben Hogan says, let your lower body start the downswing. No jerking down or speeding down. It should be easy from the top and gradually accelerating all the way through to the 3 o clock position. Then let the club make the rest of the follow-through.
@izzy0210 definitely in the 285 to 300 range. But, you should have comparable distance with all of the clubs in your bag. Think 150+ with the P wedge. Could be less, however, if you’re going that distance you’re getting WAY up in the air. That means when you land your approach, you’re sticking the shot. It’s going to stand within a few feet of where your ball flies to.
@golfhead15 “drive for show, putt for dough….” What they don’t add to that is…”if you aint driving for show, you sure as hell aint puttin for any dough”.
this video was pointless and has shitt music i think ima go cut myself with razor blades to a pass out from lack of blood and forget about everthing this video had to say
is he tryin to hit the tractor in the fairway?
@Madman5698 thats the funnest thing to do after a round of golf lol
hey man thanks for the tips, i’m going to the driving range monday. I’ll try them out then…
I like the emphasis on keeping arms tension-free. Too often, you get mechanics explained without any commentary on feel (which is very important).
Thanks man….good job!
